Through funding from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s Organizational Effectiveness program, Collective Roots hired csb philanthropic solutions to develop a plan to ensure the ongoing sustainability of its programming. 

csb philanthropic solutions conducted an organizational assessment, presented structure and partnership options to the Board of Directors, and ultimately helped the organization become a program of Fresh Approach. This proved a win for both organizations as Collective Roots was not sustainable in its current format in terms of human and financial resources, while Fresh Approach was looking to expand its reach and deepen services in East Palo Alto.
