The Presidio Institute hired Cassandra as the overall in-person experience designer and facilitator for its Cross Sector Fellows Program. 

The Fellows Program was designed for mid- and late-career professionals working across the nation in business, nonprofits, philanthropy, academia, and government who wanted to increase their cross-sector leadership skills. Cassandra led the design and delivery of the Fellows’ three, in-person, week-long learning experiences in San Francisco, Washington D.C., and New York City. She also designed and facilitated specific sessions focused on connecting cross-sector leadership skills to real-life case studies, collaboratives, and processes.

Cassandra worked with the faculty team, outside consultants, and program alumni to deliver a curriculum designed to increase the following cross-sector leadership skills:

  1. Building Teams – developing trust, managing power dynamics and conflict, and fostering an innovation culture

  2. Solving Problems – understanding impact on people, taking a systems approach, and defining results and using data

  3. Achieving Impact – aligning motivations and values, using leverage points, and sharing knowledge and learning
