With funding from the Rippel and Robert Wood Johnson Foundations, ReThink Health designed Ventures to better understand how multi-sector partnerships could accelerate change and transform regional health ecosystems, creating greater and more equitable health outcomes for their communities.
Cassandra worked in partnership with Mt. Auburn Associates to design and implement the selection process, conduct due diligence including organizing site visits across the country, and ultimately narrowing down more than 100 nominations to the six final sites: Albuquerque/Bernalillo County, New Mexico; Central Oregon; Finger Lakes, NY; Seattle/King County, WA; Sonoma, CA; and Trenton, NJ.
Post-selection, Cassandra served as the lead coach for the King County team, designer and facilitator of the three Big Tents (multi-day, in-person learning communities), and staff lead for strengthening the equity, diversity, and inclusion focus of the initiative.
